Well, I really want some rain, but today I am ABSOLUTELY enjoying this gorgeous day! I've got one of my favorite musicals playing on the computer ("Crazy for You" George and Ira Gershwin) and I am cleaning out boxes of old papers and (still!) more books and simplifying my clothes! (To quote my own thoughts, "But I got that t-shirt when I was ________" (fill-in-the-blank with something silly!)
Anyway, it feels great to simplify one room at a time -- and thrift shop shopping is not quite so appealing, I have to admit!
Barry will be home (Rocklin) tonight, then we will be off to Nevada City early tomorrow morning so he can log in for work at 7:30am. While he is programming away, I will be going through our very excessive Christmas ornaments and decorations and simplifying there, too! This is kind of exciting, and a good choice while I am in pursuit of getting the substituting going so I can work five days a week, plus tutor three evenings a week!
I'm all done with my counseling and my grief groups and it feels good to move on and press forward with a positive and happy attitude about life!
So, here's to thinking and saying upbeat things, and making my little corner of the world a better place to be!
