Norton has "fixed" me!
Well, smething is wrong with my blog since we installed the new Norton and deleted numerous cookies, adware, etc....aarrgh. Barry is going to check it out when he gets home for the weekend.
In case anybody is out there, isn't this some beautiful weather? I spent a couple of hours this morning pulling weeds, trimming bushes, and edging the front lawns with our wonderful new electric edger. It works like a dream, even on lawns that have been ignored for several months!
My favorite part of this morning was the daily flower cutting. We have a purple rose bush that is blooming like mad and the flowers have the sweetest perfume anyone could ever imagine! Across the yard the calla lilies can't be stopped - I brought in ten more flowers this morning and had to use three vases to hold all of them. Now, if you are wondering why I don't leave the calla lilies outside for our viewing pleasure, it's because they are growing under and "inside of" a mystery bush that is 10 feet tall and hides all of the flowers - hence the reason for bringing them in....I do love flowers.

Our Weeping Cherry Gets a Makeover
The weeping cherry had grown about seven ten-foot tall branches that I removed last year one by one -- they are food factories after all!
After - no more vertical branches.
Today I got up my nerve and finished cleaning up the tree by removing all but the weeping parts. Here are the before and after shots.
