Our Weeping Cherry Gets a Makeover

The weeping cherry had grown about seven ten-foot tall branches that I removed last year one by one -- they are food factories after all!

Today I got up my nerve and finished cleaning up the tree by removing all but the weeping parts. Here are the before and after shots.

Before with a large vertical branch taking food away from the flowering parts.
