In My Own Special Corner

That same corner of the front room where the plaster was so broken is now home to my place of inspiration where I play and sing and write a little music now and then... The lamp, posters/prints, and piano are all from thrift shops, surprise!
The two prints over the piano are by
Maxfield Parrish (1870-1966, Morning Light and Evening Shadows),
the framed print is by Jessie Willcox Smith (1863-1935. Looking-Glass River),
and the poster is a print by Pierre Auguste Cot (Le Printemps "Springtime").
Not surprisingly, these are three of my favorite artists.
I found the peacock in a little shop in Sausilito this fall while browsing the art galleries there with my friend, Rebecca.
The little chair is from the former US Hotel of Nevada City. It has been fun to create this little space that is mine alone.
