I surprised Barry with a two-night stay near Mendocino at the Little River Inn, January, 2008. While we were there a huge storm hit and took out the power, brought down trees, closed highway 20, and made a general mess of things. Brian and Sarah were able to find us and the four of us had breakfast and did a little shopping in Fort Bragg. Fun! My large "friend" is Silas Coombs, original owner of this property, who came to California from Maine in 1853 -- not too long after the Gold Rush of '49.

My Friend at Little River Inn
I surprised Barry with a two-night stay near Mendocino at the Little River Inn, January, 2008. While we were there a huge storm hit and took out the power, brought down trees, closed highway 20, and made a general mess of things. Brian and Sarah were able to find us and the four of us had breakfast and did a little shopping in Fort Bragg. Fun!
